    Melody
    (1996-2013)
Great collector souvenir bought on board the ship.
With ship's name on one side and company name and logo on
the other. This is a spinner key chain and key ring. Highly polished metal.
Overall measures approx. 1 1/2" square.
    Used (?),
    Very Good - Excellent
    condition
    FYI:
The 35,143 grt, 671.11-ft. motor vessel Melody was originally the
    Atlantic
    (2) built by
Constructions Navales et Industrielles de la Méditerranée,
    La Seyne
    , France,
    for the Home Lines
    and joined their flag ship
    Oceanic
    in April 1982, replacing the
    Doric
    (1971-1981).
    Atlantic
was sold to Premier Cruises in 1988, re-named
    Starship Atlantic
    and
    was a member of the
    Big Red Boat
fleet. She was sold again in 1996,
    becoming the
    Melody
for Mediterranean Shipping Co. Sailing the
    Mediterranean as
    MSC Melody
. In January 2013 she was taken out of service
and sold to Sahara India Tourism, Mumbai, India, and the vessel was renamed
    QING.
She was to be delivered in Goa, India, and converted into floating accommodation.
On June 29, 2016, the ship partially sank while docked in Goa, India.
The sinking was caused by heavy monsoon rains and neglect. The ship was re-floated in June 2018 and soon
after sold for demolition and scrapping, she was towed and beached in Alang, India in mid-2019.
