Save your shoulders and you back.  You don't set a heavy barbell on your knees and "kick" it up into position to do a bench press so why would you do it with dumbbells?  So much safer than spotter trays that cause you to mash or pinch your fingers when setting the barbells back on the trays and best of all a fraction of the cost.
These hooks will work with ANY dumbbell, and fit on ANY rack or Smith machine that will hold a bar, and can be set as high or as low as you like, and at any width you choose.  Each hook is made from 5/16 inch steel and have a nice knurled grip that your dumbbell rests in, you can use the optional velcro wrap to protect your dumbbell handle if you like but not necessary (the optional wraps can be placed on your dumbbell handles before placing the dumbbells on the hooks, they are not designed to be wrapped around the knurling of the hook.....see photos for example).  The hooks hang on your barbell at the height you choose and the hooks have a protective coating which prevents scratches to your expensive barbell.  Tested to hold 170 pounds each.
