An antique English low carat gold (possibly gold filled in places) ring, set with a cluster of foiled clear pastes in silver settings.
Collectible & wearable too!
CONDITION
: Signs of gilding loss & tarnish commensurate with age and use. Heavy discolouration to stones & foiling, some rubbing & chips - see pictures.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1760/80. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: Head 11 mm diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
RING SIZE
: Q or 8 ½ US (can be resized within reason).
WEIGHT
: Approx. 2.4 grams.
