    Description

    13 String Lyre, Hand crafted of up-cycled 100 year old piano wood . Condition is New. The front is made from up-cycling the sound board of an antique piano. The hard wood framing is also piano wood. The Celtic Thistle is wood burned by our graphic artist, making this instrument both beautiful to look at and play. The sound holes are made by removing part of the Thistle design. The overall height is 17.75", the width across the top is 13", and the width across the base is 8.5". The thickness measures 2".  The tuning chosen is 432hz, to promote peace and healing.  Should you wish to change the tuning to play with pre-recorded music, a tuning key is provided.  We recommend purchasing a chromatic guitar tuner, which is available at any music store.  Any small holes or presumed blemishes are the result of using 100 year old piano wood and do not alter the playability or beauty or the instrument.
